When the client starts, it checks to see if it was shut down properly. If it wasn't (because of computer crash, power loss, etc.) it will not use optimizations (because the client could be the cause of the crash) and the WU will take MUCH longer to finish.

If your computer is stable you can add the -forceasm flag which tells the client to not check how it was last shut down.

The TeAm is in 23rd place! :D

Sorry about any slight name differences. Or errors.

Thanks to all who contributed - big and small :D
And thanks to those who are crunching a WU and will be on the list soon ;)

I've got to love that remote 3GHz P4 with HT that I dump weekly (of course, I love my X2 at home more, but the P4 puts nice spikes in my stats ; ).

Thanks for the stats, Gleem. :D

Come on, somebody has to hit a milestone soon! :Q

That's strange, I had a WU finished earlier today on one of my machines and it still hasn't shown up online... :(

Check your logs... If the server that work unit came from is down when the work unit is finished and ready to be sent, the client will send the unit to a generic work collection server that will hold the unit until the originating server comes online. If you see an unsuccessful connect attempt followed by a successful one, that's probably what happened. Otherwise, check the username and team number in the config to ensure that they're correct.

Yeah, it looks like that is what happened. It failed to connect once or twice and then it succeeded shortly there after.

Edit: Just checked at 130 and two completed WUs have shown up under my username which also pushed me past the 3000 mark, but I guess I'll have to wait till tomorrow's update.

They must be passing out some rather large WUs lately. Some nice 1k+ ppd! Work computer is sitting on 21000/50000 frames atm! Thats the largest I've ever seen.
