What is the command or how do I force F@H to run as a service to eliminate the minimized window? I selected startup as a service but it doesn't seem to startup with Windows.

...and now that the F@H instance on the first core of my Opteron server is actually configured correctly, I begin the chase!!

If only I could use the 21 new A64 3000+ machines that just came in at work for this... perhaps I will have to add a 1 week burn-in via F@H to my build routine =)

tried to search the threads for an answer but the searches come back "no results"

I am Trying to get a dual core laptop set up using 5.04 console and I followed MDG's guide but does not seem to be working right I created two separate folders and ran the 5.04-console in each and downloaded a work unit for each.

one seems to be working fine as a service and running at 50 percent. According to the FAHlog it shows the first one I set up as running as a service but at the time I started the 2nd machine is says "Folding@home Core Shutdown: INTERRUPTED"

It does not seem to be able to run. I have one as machine 1 and the other as 2

Any help be appreciated

The console can be configured to run as a service.

Run it with the -config or -configonly flag and you will see the option to run as a service.

I think you need to restart the computer for it to take effect after the config.

Seemed to figure out what I did wrong. Seems to be working now with both "machines" running and both cores running 100%. On my second attempt I ran the console for both cores at the same time before I restarted.
