Been having some fun with the dual core laptop. On the older cores both "cpu's" together are a little slower than my 2800+ Venice core but on WU's 1164 and 1165 each cpu is the equivalent to my Athlon 64, so PPD production is almost 4 times faster on the newer cores. Seems like a little intel magic is being done here.

How do X2's cores compare to single Athlon 64 processors? Anybody out there have any experiences with both Athlon singe cores and X2's?
