I fired up the newest smp client (6.23) on three of my X2's. One of them is not behaving very well. I can post the log if anyone is interested in helping...

I'll try to help if I can. Is there any basic differences with the machine that is acting strangely (as compared with the ones that are working well)? OS? directory naming? etc..

The folder in question is my school pc listed in my sig.

As you correctly assumed, one of these things is not like the others 😀 It's running server 2003. Not quite sure why it keeps eue'ing on me though...

It does not appear that any credit could be given seeing as it could not read the results file and it was removed from the queue.

What is the full directory path?

I remember running across a couple of threads about trying to run clients on Windows Home Server. Unfortunately, they quickly (d)evolved into a vocablary I didn't understand.

Probably a good first step would be to go to the fah forums and try looking around for it. (You don't have any idea how much I hate giving this as advise)

I think you may be suffering from something in the server setup and operation that interrupts the networking in a way that confuses the loopback adapter and I think that is something that (still) pisses the SMP client off.

I am so totally useless in networking issues... sorry 🙁

C:\SMP

Using flags -smp and verbosity 9, client was also set to run as a service

This PC is folding in the basement so temps are 40-45C full load

Static IP set to 192.168.0.104

I was kind of curious about folding on a live cd (Ubuntu). Can anyone give me an idea of the ppd from running on a live copy of linux?
