DeinoMPI

..or which should I run ??

Also, my F@H keps writing "Checkpoint files" then "Local files"

It takes a while to do this each time.

I have 3 PC's, all AMD X2 dual cores

6000+ with 4 gig DDR2
5200+ with 2 gig DDR2
5200+ with 2 gig DDR2

I need to uninstall on my 2nd PC as it requests "Timercheck" or something like that and is only at 61% after running all day.

Can I get an uninstall guide and an install guide, I have a hard time understanding all of the guides I have read.
I need something simple, maybe step by step.

I can use all of my memory and 95% of the cpu.

It seems like everything is running as it should. Some WUs might be worth 2500 points and some might be 1200 or less. The more points the longer it will take to finish.

I think most run the MPI version instead of Deino, I am not sure why, MPI might give a bit better points per day.

Google FAHMon, it is a small program that will tell you how your client is doing PPD, which project is crunching, etc.

I get more PPD with project 2653 (1760 points) as opposed to project 2665 (1920 points) My cpu's smoke out the 2653 a bit faster, which I prefer....:thumbsup:

It has become more interesting again. For a long time we folded on flat lines.
Now, with 3 flavors of GPU work units with distinct PPDs each and 2 flavors of SMP each with their own PPD, it is always a little bit of a mystery what the PPD will be for a given day. It all depends on the mix. I range from 26K+ to 32K+ a day depending on what the fah gods decide I deserve to snack on.

Deino is what I installed on the first PC, I installed MPI on the other 2 and they crunching away.

Do you guys disable cpu affinity lock or not ??

I check do NOT lock.....

Also, If I am running a CPU client on the same machine I create a Windows System Environment variable:

NV_FAH_CPU_AFFINITY and set the value = 0

This tells the Nvidia GPU client that it can use any core it likes.
