Grrrr!

I have to vent a little - on SMP client, last six WUs, two finished for points, two errored right away (no big loss), two errored at 93% & 97% :|

I'd probably be better off using four regular clients!

I just realized. I have a single computer getting 46000 points per week. If I had $2000 to spare, plus whatever that'd cost for electricity, I could be top dog here....

PCTC2: I think you might need a couple more than two PCs if you plan on dislodging Gravity or MarkFW for that top dog spot.

BUT.... I did the math.... if I had one hundred PCs I would be the best :roll:
and I'd almost have a milestone. 😉

I meant in PPW. I have some spare parts around so it's not 2 computers. But I never could pass them... unless... I hijack the cluster at work for "alternative" purposes.

Did you try qfix? (It doesn't always work)

There seem to be almost no available projects other than 2665 for Windows machines right now. They just spawned a new batch of Clones for 2665, and a bunch are bad.

We call it "borging." 😀 Just make sure to either get permission, or never get caught!

Does anyone else think it's weird that Stanford would all of a sudden have such difficulty with "bad work units" right when they release the client with changes in the way EUEs are handled.

Yeah we're beta testers alright.... but I think they could have done this round with the "official" beta testers rather than all of us poor schmucks
