Folding GPU2 and a 6850

Sorry for the long absence guys I was busy with family stuff. Anywho, I got a new toy a XFX black edition 6850 only to find out the GPU2 client does not support it. I tried the-forcegpu ati_r700 flag but I keep getting a download error of all things????. Any ideas?

I have my 6600 quad core running the SMP client and it is kicking out what it can.

I might start up my PS3 again as well.

I think that the new V7 client supports ATI. The GPU2 client was only for NV, I think, and perhaps older (4xxx series) ATI cards.
 
i'm not at all familiar w/ GPU2, but is it possible the GPU2 client requires an double-precision floating point-capable GPU? the 6870 and 6850 (just like the 5770 and the 5750) are not FP64-capable GPUs...so that's something you might want to look into.
