If you still have to carry around giant wheels, it doesn't really count. Use a standard bicycle, then you don't have to carry three things.

Having to carry the wheels separately kills it for me. I really dig that hub-less wheel design though. Looks futuristic.

Is it just me, or did the video go to a lot of trouble to NOT show removing the wheels and folding the frame?

Something tells me that there isn't a real fully functional product on display in that video.

I really need a folding bike. currently my bike sits at the bottom of my stairs blocking the front door. No fucking way in hell i'm carrying this thing up a flight of stairs that are very steep.

I would fund something like this.

Lol yeah. They probably had to disassemble it from the "open" position and reassemble it in the "folded" position or something.

No, it's not just you.

The only reason I watched the vid was to see how it folded up and they didn't show it.

I also found the drawn diagrams instead of a demonstration suspicious.

I suspect you're right that there's no functional product yet.
