I looked around quickly, but did not search thoroughly. Has anyone installed and run the sys tray GPU client in Windows 7 yet?

for what it's worth, i tried to install windows 7 last weekend (as an upgrade), but it failed.

So, I performed a clean install of W7 over XP and it is slick, it looks and feels a lot like a snappier Vista. I'm no Vista hater; it's on three of the rigs in my house.

Pertinent to my question, both the systray GPU client and FahMon work in W7. I installed the 181.20 vinvista 32 bit drivers and there was no problem. EVGA Precision tool also works in W7. So far so good, though the 5750 WUs drag down the PPD ;>(

I meant just W7, F@H uses a fair bit ;), how much, less F@H?

Btw good to know the GPU client works already on it :).

got an orbit unit running at the minute.

it's at 92% complete after 436 hours and has approx 43 hours left to go.
so, i think i might just hold off on the clean install for a couple of days :)

My god that's an insanely long WU!!

Is that typical of Orb@H or are you running it on a 486?;)

I don't know...I installed the 32 bit version for evaluation. Will try 64 bit in a week or so on a different machine.
