Folding and the AMD Phenom

Now that the new stepping is shipping I was wondering if it would be a great time to get a cheap churner since everyone is trying to ditch the old steppings.

Has anyone run into the TLB bug while folding? I doubt anyone has, but I thought I would ask.

Also, does anyone have a recommendation on a cheap but solid AMD MB that can handle the Phenom?

Why are you wanting a phenom ? The Q6600 OC'ed is the bang/buck performance master for F@H.

I have a new Phenom 9850BE over-clocked to 2.8GHz running YoYo@Home.

It is installed on a Gigabyte GA-MA790FX-DS5. It's about $240 USD, but it sure is sweet!

Whats your PPD on F@H ? I get ~4500 PPD on my Q6600's @ 3500

I haven't done F@H yet. I am a TAS member doing a BOINC month for April.

with my 9500 with L3 disabled (I haven't tested it with the TLB workaround) gets 2600ppd @ 2200GHz

I haven't had any crash with my 9500 and the L3 is still enabled.

Because you can score some pretty sweet deals on the B2 steppings and I was just curious how they held up against the Q6600.
