Trying to get my My Docs folder redirected to a folder on the Server 2k3 box that hosts our AD for the purposes of making sure that it works (we can't afford a test environment, please leave it at that). I set the group policy up as per MS's directions and created a root directory on the server, being careful to make sure that the permissions for the folder are liberal enough to allow for a new folder to be created. Unfortunately, I'm not getting a new folder after I force gpupdate and log off and then back on. I think it has to be permissions, but I have the root set up to let the group my account is in do whatever it wants. What might I be overlooking?
