Fold it! - Rosetta@Home game

I have some rosetta@home game "Fold it!" BETA invitations, if you want to get invited, please PM me your e-mail adress.

It's not really a game, the human brain can solve protein structures much faster than a computer, searching for random energy values costs hundrets of CPU hours, using this game you can find it within minutes!

The results of the game will be treated as if they were found by the rosetta software and will be published in papers.

EDIT: We have a Team! : http://fold.it/portal/node/226531

haha 🙂 does that mean your CPU is extremely powerful and smart or ... 😱

there are no system requirements for your bain...

I have downloaded and tried this game out. It is a lot of fun! Right now it looks like their servers are overloaded though. You can run folding @ home and play this game at the same time! 🙂

BTW, anyone can download the game now:

Got a link to some reading? :Q

Yeah, I'd like to see a link too.

Hard for me to believe. May be it's some primitive form of homology modeling.

This works only if your brain is smarter than your CPU. With me, it's iffy!
lol 😀

So this is run by the R@H folks?

yes, during the casp race they're testing whether the cpu power or the brain power gets the best prediction on the same targets!
