I'm honestly confused as to why this story isn't getting more coverage.
Probably because of all the "chemical weapon mobile labs" and such we found. The press got burned by the false alarms. Perhaps they want to verify it more, rather than take a Drudge like attitude.

Like the press has ever cared about being inaccurate?

Sounds peachy, except that chemical weapons aren't that difficult to manufacture. It's old technology- Mustard, Lewisite and Chlorine were used in WW1, and the Japanese used some nerve agents in their WW2 China campaign, iirc...

The Japanese subway attack was done with homemade Sarin, and an ultra right Texas wacko named Krar was found in possession of a cyanide bomb, strictly homemade, along with a large assortment of other bombs, guns and a few hundred thousand rounds of ammo... and lots of friends and contacts throughout the US...

The effectiveness of chemical weapons is often overstated, as well, the number of potential casualties being estimated from the total weight divided by the minimum lethal dose, an entirely inaccurate method...

The notion that such weapons can practically be kept out of the hands of terrorists is laughable- they can buy, steal or make virtually anything short of nuclear if they so desire...

but you fail to take into account that the creation of a truly lethal amount of any chem or bio WMD does take the use of traceable amounts of other inputs. Amounts that will probably only go un-noticed if a state-sponsor is helping or allowing the terrorists to obtain those materials unnoticed.

im sure analysis of the wmd's will be able to determine their source. syria is also supposed to have massive amounts of wmd's, so they could have easily come from the syrian military supply.

maybe there's a lid on it because it was syrian based wmds.....

and yes, newsmax.com is a conservative news site (http://biz.yahoo.com/ic/105/105844.html).
you can see that they added their own little spin about iraq at the end of the article that no other legitimate news outlet added. i guess because those other outlets are part of the "liberal" media and has nothing to do with fair reporting. heh heh

The scary truth is that they have them...Al Queda has WMD's ....we were too late...

So Libs whats the solution?

Maybe since the UN will no longer be getting their underground oil for food check, perhaps they will take this issue seriously.

But they also think the world is over poplulated, so perhaps this will be one way the surplus population can be eliminated.
