Focalpoint or other answering machine software

A few years ago I was using my dad's Dell and it had Focalpoint preinstalled on it. I don't remember who actually wrote the software. Does anyone know if there's a shareware copy of focal point anywhere, or if there's some other answering machine software that's worthwhile. This is going into a Win2k system at the moment, but if there's a (different) linux program I'll have a linux box back up and usable in a month or two.
