I think the term "over-played" is the reason Christmas music sucks so bad. It's sort of like the song American Pie... (Don McLean) - it's a pretty good song. But after the 3rd time you've heard it in a month, you're ready to change the station. How many different Christmas songs are there? Let's see... jingle bells, silent night, dreaming of a white Christmas... a couple others. What? A dozen or so of the same songs played over and over and over? AAggghhH! I feel the OP's pain.

I worked at sams club for years. Imagine listening to christmas music for 2 months solid from a display that plays only 6 songs and youre not allowed to shut it off during the night shift when the store is otherwise silent because the people in the morning are too retarded to handle plugging it back in.

could be worse at one job the manager insited on playing the elvis xmas cd over and over and over ....iim surprised no one snapped and offed the guy

no, it is nice

stop being grumpy

Christmas music should be banned by the Geneva Convention as cruel and unusual torture!

Agreed. Christmas music should be played on one day and one day only... Christmas. It's called "Christmas" music, not "end-of-November / December music".

dude, the radio stations at my house played christmas music at thanksgiving

I was so happy the day I walked into work and heard Christmas music. I love the holiday season and I think it's a great excuse to just be happy for no damned reason other than the fact that it's Christmas.

I was told that I could listen to the radio at a reasonable volume from nine to eleven, I told Bill that if Sandra is going to listen to her headphones while she's filing then I should be able to listen to the radio while I'm collating so I don't see why I should have to turn down the radio because I enjoy listening at a reasonable volume from nine to eleven.

Here in SA they started the music on the radio early this year - it was on before Thanksgiving....

Ask them to play some Trans-Siberian Orchestra Christmas Music. At least that stuff is cool.

Let it be Christmas everywhere
In the hearts of all people both near and afar
Christmas everywhere
Feel the love of the season wherever you are
On the small country roads lined with green mistletoe
Big city streets where a thousand lights glow

Let it be Christmas everywhere
Let heavenly music fill the air
Let every heart sing let every bell ring
The story of hope and joy and peace
And let it be Christmas everywhere
Let heavenly music fill the air
Let anger and fear and hate disappear
Let there be love that lasts through the year
And let it be Christmas
Christmas everywhere

Let it be Christmas everywhere
With the gold and the silver, the green and the red
Christmas everywhere
In the smiles of all children asleep in their beds
In the eyes of young babies their first fallen snow
Elderlys' memories that never grow old

Let it be Christmas everywhere
Let heavenly music fill the air
Let every heart sing let every bell ring
The story of hope and joy and peace
And let it be Christmas everywhere
Let heavenly music fill the air
Let anger and fear and hate disappear
Let there be love that lasts through the year
And let it be Christmas
Christmas everywhere

Let it be Christmas everywhere
In the songs that we sing and the gifts that we bring
Christmas everywhere
In what this day means and what we believe
From the sandy white beaches where blue water rolls
Snow covered mountains and valleys below

Let it be Christmas everywhere
Let heavenly music fill the air
Let every heart sing let every bell ring
The story of hope and joy and peace
And let it be Christmas everywhere
Let heavenly music fill the air
Let anger and fear and hate disappear
Let there be love that lasts through the year
And let it be Christmas

Christmas everywhere
Christmas everywhere
Christmas everywhere

I used to do retail. I CANNOT STAND CHRISTMAS MUSIC.

LOL watch me get a large compliation of Christmas music in the secret santa!

First of all its better than 99% of the crap played on the radio today

Most of the people that sing it can actually sing without computer-aid

You only have to listen to it 1 month every year then the crap will return

Deal with it

This is the reason I opted out of seeing the Trans-Siberian Orchestra this year- they're great performers, but the Christmas music they play on their tour every year gets to me.

Jingle Bells
Silent Night
I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
O come all ye Faithful
Deck the halls
Hark the Herald Angels Sing
The Christmas Song
White Christmas
Ding Dong Merrily on High
Away in a Manger
Carol of the Bells
It came upon a midnight clear
Let it snow
Jingle Bell Rock
The little drummer boy
O Holy Night
Up on the Housetop
Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer
Santa Clause is Coming to Town
I saw mommy kissing Santa Clause
Baby it's cold outside
Joy To the World
Winter Wonderland
O Little Town of Bethlahem
I wonder as I wander
Go Tell it on the Mountain
Ave Maria
Good King Wenceslas
I Saw Three Ships
Rockin around the christmas tree

I could get many more but I am tired of typing them
