No (thank god) I work for Blue Cross but in one of the remote sales offices so there are only about 40 people in this office. I guess it is something they do every year, this is my first Xmas in this office.

I was told that I could listen to the radio at a reasonable volume from nine to eleven, I told Bill that if Sandra is going to listen to her headphones while she's filing then I should be able to listen to the radio while I'm collating so I don't see why I should have to turn down the radio because I enjoy listening at a reasonable volume from nine to eleven.

Is it christmas background music or are they actual songs like "Mr. Grinch"? I like the actual songs that are played on the radio, and I'll listen to them when they're on. But I can't stand that background holiday music they play in retail stores.

I brought in my mp3 player and portable docking speakers at work so I don't have to hear this one annoying cube mate complain and nag all day. If he starts b!tching about something or trys to talk to me, I just turn up some 50 cent and continue about my business.

They are actual songs but some of them are horrible. The old classics are nice (like Sinatra) but the new ones are mind shattering. I do not like the hip-hop female singers singing Silent Night, dragging each damn word out for 30 seconds while their voice sounds like they are sitting on a jack hammer.

I used to. It was nice and I am trying to get back there. The smaller office is nice but being in a big environment where no one can keep track of you is nicer

Riverchase is nice but the traffic sucks something awful. I think widening the road around Valleydale actually made it worse.

It doesn't bother me that much because I live in SouthSide so I go opposite of traffic when I am in Riverchase and have to travel back home during rush hour. Everyone leaves at 4:30 to beat the 5:00 crowd too.

Heh, I don't have to deal with that traffic at all but my wife does (works at UAB). We're still apartment living and our complex is on the hill off Riverchase, I just cruise down the hill to work.
