Am I missing something? I want to build an FM2 rig but I have only find one heatsink expressly compatible with the FM2, a Silverstone. I can't find many that are even compatible with FM1. Are there any AMD heatsink forms such as AM3 or AM3+ that are forward-compatible?

Copied from elsewhere -

FM2 uses the same retention clips as 939 , AM2, AM2+, AM3, AM3+, FM1, so no modifying necessary.
Basically just buy the one that fits in your budget and case.

If it's compatible with FM1, it will work with FM2. I picked up a Xigmatek Gaia for my FM2 socket build a couple of months back.

Thanks guys! I may use the current Cooler Master 212 or, if I want to be able to put the case cover back on, something a little less taller. :)
