FM1 Motherboard Lifespan

I'm considering an FM1 based build but I'm curious about something.
How long will socket FM1 be around?
Will Trinity be FM1 based or will that require a new motherboard?

I'd like to know that my build is still really relevant (or has the potential to be relevant) in a couple of years.

trinity is supposed to be "FM something".

so some of thee rumors are that it would be sort of like how AM3 cpus could fit in an AM2 slot, but would be missing a few features.

I personally think trinity will use FM1 as is or will be very similar, given unless they plan on changing hypertransport drastically , or switching to more than dual channel or ddr4 or something they don't really have a reason to need a new socket.
