FM Transmitter for PDA

mikeyes

Senior member
Recently purchased a PDA and would like to play audio books and some music through my car stereo.

I realize that FM transmitters are not high on the quality list and you should use a direct audio jack or tape adapter to get good quality. That being said I was wondering if anyone has used a particular kind/brand of FM transmitter and been really impressed with it.

I have tried this unit Link but once the volume on my car stereo was over ~50% I could hear lots of background static/noise.

Anyway............................

Thanks.

personally I use the Belkin Tunecast II for playing through my car stereo. unfortunately, to get the transmitter to recognize the audio signal from my Zen Sleek, I had to turn the volume up to 20/25. also, when I use it in our '96 Corolla, the transmitter sounds fine, but when I put it in our '98 Ford Windstar, there is lots of static. I dont know if this is a Ford problem or a minivan problem. otherwise though the sound quality is good.
