it works with any ipod, and any device that outputs an audio signal through a headphone jack

Is this the Tunecast or the Tunecast II? There's quite a difference.

Build your own; the company there says the Stereocaster kit transmits up to about 1500 feet.
I sent for one yesterday.

This is a good price...especially with free shipping. You have to be careful when getting an fm transmittor because some of them only have a set number of frequencies (usually 4) but this particular model doesn't seem to have a limit (just a limit of 4 for memory....not a set number of frequencies).

Yeah the tunecast II comes with a car charger and also can be powered by (included) batteries if you'd like. Also allows the full FM spectrum instead of just 4 channels.
