Flying to South Andros, Bahamas

ATOT came through in the clutch for our last destination wedding to Tobago. Now it's off to South Andros, Bahamas. It looks like the best way to go is to fly straight to Nassau from NYC (where we live) and catch a Western Air flight to South Andros from there. I'm more than a little nervous about the iffy reservation system outlined in the link above. At least w/ Tobago Express we were able to make a solid reservation via an agency. Anybody else go this way? Thanks in advance!
