I've flown Airtran for every flight for years, but since Southwest acquired them and I've heard such bad things about Southwest, I'm trying the jetBlue bandwagon. Any suggestions on what to bring? I'll have headphones for the TV. How's the legroom? Worth upgrading to the extra leg room seats? Any other suggestions?

They've been my favorite airline since they debuted in 1999. Having had jobs that required monthly trips to Boston and New York (from Central Florida) for 7 years or so was what made me a fan. Excellent pricing and customer service, enough leg room in the regular seats, new planes, and the best part...36 channels of DirecTV for everyone (as well as lots of music / talk stations). To this day I fly them whenever possible (most recently to Newark, NJ back in June).

You've heard bad things about SouthWest...? Where? SouthWest and JetBlue are my preferred airlines.

Delta all the way baby.

I flew SunCountry once, I've never been on a more raggedy plane in my life. I was so scared. I couldnt believe they were actually using it. When it arrived at the airport, we ended up being delayed for 2 hours so they could service it and it was still having problems. When we got to our destination, we had to circle the airport because the Captain said "the landing gear won't drop, hang in there folks..we'll be down in a minute"

south west is the premium airline: they don't charge for peanuts and you don't pay for extra bags.
