Man, so many compact parts that move and fold into the car, that would scare the shit out of me thinking something was going to eventually break off mid-flight. Too many hinges lol.

That was cool, if only the main tank would have separated it probably would have worked, on hell of a fireball when it hit LOL..

Would be a pretty handy apocalypse vehicle. Vertical takeoff would be better though.

go back and look again Butch. It is off the ground in 500 feet according to the website. It does not climb out of ground effect for quite a while though. I think it is cool as hell.
I find it odd that they made a powered erecting system, and yet the pilot had to get out to fold the tail. I'd ditch the power system and make it all manual fold. I'm guessing it would save weight and complexity.
