FLY BIRDS

They usually fly away at the last minute but we're usually swerving and driving around in circles trying to avoid them by then.
 
I don't *think* I've ever hit any birds. Almost had a head-on with a turkey once, but that was in a boat, not a car 😛

Also have a friend who started his truck once without realizing that a mouse had crawled into the engine. Must've been looking for a warm spot to sleep. For the next month or two, every time you turned on the vents, all this fur would fly out...

i ran over a pigeon once in a movie theatre parking lot. it exploded, making a big popping noise, and spraying half-digested popcorn everywhere. not a happy day. it never occured to me that it wouldn't get out of the way, since i was going 5 MPH or less. i felt bad for it, but i guess it needed to be removed from the gene pool.
