It seems like a good argument, cos obviously the fly has to slow down, then come to a halt before it can accelerate in the other direction...thus stopping the train for an instant 😉
but that would assume that both the fly and the train couldn't flex/crumple to absorb the hit
in which case the train wouldn't stop, or would it?
