Fluorescence at 532 nm

After extensive experimentation I have discovered that Pimms (diluted) and dayglo-orange plush slugs fluoresce with a nice orange colour when irradiated at 532 nm.

Pretty much nothing else I've tested does, and the Pimms only barely fluoresces.

so it's fluorescein based? Imagine my surprise when my fluorescein calcium sensor failed to fluoresce.

Yeah, get a mercury or xeon arc lamp. We're not impressed by a mere 532nm.
