Fluke MS2-TTK MicroScanner2 Network Cable Tester Kit ,,,Probe "Cable Map" issue

Dear Expert

I bought my Fluke MS2-TTK MicroScanner2 Network Cable Tester Kit from ebay on November 2017 and it is brand new.

Today I was trying to use “Wire Map” mode that is located on its probe and the LED light supposed to be jumping between number 1 to 8 as per below :

Check at 55 sec

Mine stuck at number one ,,,,I want to find out if that indicate a problem or something else ?

Thx

Did you get a user manual ? ? You can download one here: www.davis.com/Assets/manual_pdfs/17791-61.pdf
You need to be more specific with what the display is showing, but it sounds like you have a bad cable or connector. If the cable is open or shorted, the tester can tell you the approximate distance to where the fault is at.

Read the manual. Or get someone in there that knows what they are doing. We can not help you if you do provide all the required information. The manual will explain how to interpret what you are seeing on the display. Worst case, I am sure Fluke has a help number you can call.

I will not be bothering with you. You are clearly not trained in networking cable installation or testing. Hire someone who is BICSI certified. I also see that you are not getting responses at all the other locations you have posted about the same issue.

You are right I need to use your expertise.
Because you don't know what you are talking about , you asked me to download the manual

I also see that you are not getting responses at all the other locations you have posted about the same issue.
Ohh yes you are right !!!!!
Below is the response from other forum (credit to them) showing how professional you are
https://forums.overclockers.com.au/...able-tester-kit-probe-cable-map-issue.1240177

And another help from different forum

You're asking for help but insulting those that are trying to help. Three times to the same person, no less.
If you continue to do so, I will just lock your thread.

I know how to fix it, if I was on site. Based on what you said, it sounds like you only have continuity on Wire #1 between the 2 test locations. This means any of the following:

Bad cable between locations

Wrong punchdown of colors at one end as compared to the other end

Cables badly punched down on the RJ-45 Jack at one end or the other or both

You need to investigate all of these to spot the problem. You also need the correct
type of Punch Down Tool to properly seat the wires on the RJ-45 Jacks

If you are willing to use your own time
to help the OP figure out their issue for free, do so.

For whatever reason, if you do not want to do this, please go
help another user somewhere else here. This thread does not
need to continue down the path it's currently headed to.
