Fluke LinkRunner cable tester

I tried to reply to that thread but didn't see the Reply button for some reason.

I'm running into an issue where the end user would just drop off the network in the middle of the work.
I've verified the cabling pinouts by using a really basic cable tester (the kind that's got only 4 green & 4 red lights), and show interface doesn't show any I/O errors.

I'm interested in the LinkRunner mentioned in the old thread.
Does anyone know if it can also determine the physical link quality?

youll need a much more expensive tester if you want line quality...

linkrunner is more for testing drops (active, speed/duplex, capabilities), general icmp connectivity, and cable verificiation (shorted, split/open pairs).
