I'm sure some of the folks here are aware of this product. For those that are not, I would like to share my experience and recommend this product. The best way i can describe it that it is a far better alternative to WD40. It is a penetrant, lubricant, and rust inhibitor.

About two years ago I had 1/2 hp pump at work squealing. After looking at the pump i noticed the noise was coming from the bearing near the front of the electric motor. I figured that i would need to purchase a new motor. I sprayed some fluid film on the motor shaft close to the bearing then resprayed again 5 min later. put the pump head back on, plugged it in the motor squealded for about 10seconds and became quiet. Its been 2 years running flawlessly (about 4-6 hours a day M-F) It just stated getting noisy again so I sprayed it again its now quiet again for 3 days (I dont know how long it will last this time)

I also sprayed it on a roller chain on a couple of garage door openers and it has quieted them down too.(over a year now)
Anytime I disassemble something I spray the threads on bolts when reassembling for future disassembly with good results.
It is claimed to be a good undercoating for corrosion protection I have tried in that application, but I feel it would help control corrosion
It is available locally for most:
