So whats the pros vs cons of the mist vs the shot?

It appears the mist is not recommended for care givers of children under 6 months of age. Other then that, you still have about the same chance of getting the flu as not getting the shot (unless they pick the right flu this time).

sweet! not a single mention of caring for infants in teh papaer i had to read. I even asked the nurse if it would be a problem with an infant at home... swell!

I keep my tin foil hat firmly attached at all times, so I don't get flu shots.

I especially wouldn't get a live virus inhaled directly to my brain... that just sounds ridiculous.

I don't think I've ever had the flu and I've only had a flu shot once because the owner of the company coaxed me into doing it.

Flu shots were mandatory when I was active duty. First couple of years I was in, they gave the shot. Then, they switched to the FluMist nasal spray. I got sick from both for several days, but the shot was much less disgusting. The nasal spray felt like slime pouring down my sinuses and throat. Yick.

I see you have a firm understanding of anatomy.

Yea, got a sore throat the one time I got the spray. I'll stick to the shot.
