Follow up question:
What's worse
A) Strep Throat Test (throat swab)
B) Flu Test (nose swab)

discuss (I find strep worse as flu test is easier when head is against a wall)

Many of my friends got the flu shot for this winter. Almost an equal number of my friends elected NOT to get the flu shot. Without a doubt, the friends who got the flu shot are getting the flu much more and much more intense than non flu shot people.

My question to you is two fold.

Did you get a flu shot?
Did you get the flu?

Sounds like you're just making shit up. I assume you've got some scientific proof of your hypothesis? Did your friends actually go and get lab tested and confirmed for the flu? My guess is they all just had colds or a stomach virus and don't actually know what the flu is.

I just had the flu two weeks ago... talk about fun!

Couldn't eat for about 4 days, then felt like crap for another week. I've never had a flu shot (I figure your body should come in contact with germs and learn to fight them off the good old fashioned way.) Plus I figure I'll leave more doses for those who are ill/sick and aren't able to fend off the flu on their own.

I hope that changes your mind about vaccines. It's a really stupid line of thinking, as vaccine-based immunization works exactly the same way as if you had actually gotten sick and recovered on your own and with the bonus of not actually getting sick.

Most healthy people can fight influenza off on their own, but who wants to feel like crap for a week and be completely unproductive? Plus, you risk spreading it around to other people, as you are contagious from the day before you exhibit symptoms to a few days into being symptomatic.

I get the flu shot every year. I did get the flu though about 4-5 years ago even though i got the shot. (yes i went to the doctor and got the diagnosis).

its cheap and well worth the little pain.
