Flu or something

Mill

Lifer
Dang I hate being sick and all I have is tylenol and some ginger ale to drink. It literally takes me about 15 minutes to get out of bed because my back and neck are in such pain. I've got a headache like I was attacked with a tac hammer, too. Add in the fever and chills, and I just want to sleep for about 48 hours straight and wake up better. I called my doctor and he thought it was strep so he called in some antibiotics, but I e-mailed him back to say I really think it is the Flu instead. My sore throat has gotten worse, but it in no way compares to the body pain and headache. 🙁

Yes, I am whining, and yes you will like it. 😱

it's called meningitis C.

Seriously, see a doctor now.

EDIT: google meningitis C before you overreact 😛 Then see a doctor.

I don't have meningitis. I already talked to the doctor and he had me do several physical tests to rule that out. It is either Flu or Strep Throat.

I understand, and thanks. My neck has pain but doesn't have the classic stiffness or limited ability to move.

Agreed. I had it month ago and was on antibiotics. I just had fever, bad throat and some chills. No neck pains. Minor headaches once a while.
