He has 3 fights left on his contract after which he claims he's retiring. If he fights Manny he'll make about $250 million for that fight alone. He probably made 100 million after everything was said and done last Saturday. His boxing net worth was around 300 million before his fight last Saturday. And according to Vegas bookies he was the most winning person in vegas for college football the last 3 years in a row. They can't disclose but it's safe to safe it's a lot of fucking money. With how he bets it could well surpass his boxing money.

While a lot of athletes blow a stupid amount of money and end up dead broke. Floyd's in a whole different tax bracket. Tyson blew threw around 50 million, Iverson about the same. They ended up strapped for cash. While that's a ton of money Mayweather should be worth around 700 million by this time next year, a lot more if be fights Pacman. That would cover a shit ton of 100k strip club outings. Also he has his management company which makes a killing. And unlike most athletes he doesn't have a Don King or other dbag stealing money from him.

If he can go from 500 million to broke in 10 years that would be one amazing ass ride lol.

Nearly all of your information is incorrect. He has two fights left.

Iverson had close to $150m, Tyson $200m. Iverson still has $30m in a trust fund paying him $1m a year though.

Mayweather is worth nowhere near as much as the media reports. He won't make $250m to fight Manny and if he does he'll only take home half of it after taxes, salaries, fight expenses, etc. Him fighting Manny is going to be big but not as big as it would have been 5 years ago. Floyd is past him prime, he was weak in this last fight. Manny is also past his prime. I personally don't even think he'll fight Manny because Manny will win. Mayweather doesn't want the L. He wants to retire Marciano style (49-0).

A close friend of his reported that he said he keeps all of his money in his checking account, in cash, and he saw an ATM receipt saying he had $130m. I believe that. He owns his house outright in Southern Highlands, worth about $10m. He owns some cars, probably a lot of jewelry, worth maybe $20m more. He's worth $200m tops right now and maybe he'll top out at $300 when it's all said and done. I give him 10 years with that much cash and he'll be broke.

Private jet flights are $100k round trip. A $300k car can depreciate to $100k in a few years. Flashy jewelry loses 70% of it's value after you wear it. He has an entourage. He has family to support. He knows how to make it, he doesn't know how to keep it.

50 Cent said it best for Mayweather. It's just "fight, spend, fight, spend, etc." He doesn't invest. He doesn't generate passive income.

Not cool that most guys here don't think a waitress deserves a tip. Comped or not, she probably worked her tail off for that large party. He should have tipped her, based on her level of service, of course.

It doesn't matter that it was comped, unless the restaurant tipped her.

Crazy that you guys think a hard working waitress only deserves $10 / hour. That's downright ridiculous.

That's for fighting Canelo, a dude most people didn't even know. You honestly don't think he'll easily make 4-5 times that if he fought Manny? There's no fucking way he's only worth 120 million. His fight deal with Showtime has already made him more than that, and he was a hundred millionaire before he signed that contract. We could bicker over numbers all night, yes I don't don't exact numbers, but neither do you. He made 30 million for fighting a guy who's name I can't even remember off the top of my head without thinking about it for a minute - and I'm a boxing fan. He has around 100 cars including every Rolls they make, and a few Bugattis, so even without all his jewelry his car collection alone is worth more than the $20 million you quote.

He could fight Khan and make about $60, then he'll fight Broner and make about the same, after that his contract with Shotime will be up and he can go out with a 50th and final fight. Manny or not he'll make easily over $100 million for that. He's still the biggest draw in boxing by a long shot. I suppose we could argue about an amount, but he's rich as fuck, who cares if it's $120,000,000 or $240,000,000. He's the highest paid athlete on the planet. And really after you pass a certain $$$$ it's just a number.

I used to have a long term substitute teacher in high school that would drive to Vegas every weekend to strip and make 1-2 grand a weekend.

Didn't find out about this until years later when I ran into her

You know you could have just rolled them out of your table right? The bouncers will typically always bring you some girls so you can have fun and then tip them for the extra help but if you don't like them, roll them out and get a new set lol.

Actually we couldnt. The bar setup bottle service for both parties in the same effing booth.

Again, if he was comped, why wouldn't he expect the waitress to be taken care of as well?
Because that's not what "comped" means. They can make your meal complimentary specifically as restitution for bad wait service so of course they aren't expected to pay the tip. The customer was never required to pay the tip in the first place so of course that isn't taken care of. You may not understand it, but anyone leading his lifestyle knows that you still tip when comped for reasons other than bad service. A tip has always been a way to express appreciation for service. If anything, having your meal comped for being a VIP should generate MORE appreciation.

Compliments of the chef:

Mary gets comped for being the staff's "favorite person." Note how they say "there will be no bill." Tip was never part of the bill. Her meal was comped because she was a VIP to them and not because of bad service, so those guys at least earned a tip.

I thought I read someone post that Mayweather tends to tip generously otherwise so I'm thinking it was shit service provided by the waitress.

Everything you or I have read has said she "went above and beyond," though it could be here-say (haven't heard a statement otherwise). All indications are that his bill was comped because he is VIP, just like Mary Poppins when she was comped by the penguin wait staff for being their favorite person.

Heck, the rest of Mary Poppins appears to be ABOUT tipping!

Mary Poppins seems to be all about tipping!
The opening sequence of Mary Poppins shows a backdrop of the city of London. Credits scroll by as the camera pans from right to left on the backdrop until it zooms in on Mary Poppins, (Julie Andrews), sitting on a cloud. A medley of songs: “Feed the Birds”, “A Spoonful of Sugar”, and “Chim, Chim, Cher-ee” play in the background. Finally, the camera pans down to a park where Bert, (Dick Van ***) sings and plays a one-man-band to a crowd of onlookers. He begs a tip from an affluent audience and then leads the viewer to Cherry Tree Lane. This introduces the story, characters, and location of the film. Bert tells of a changing wind, which suggests that Mary Poppins is arriving. Using the same backdrop of London at the beginning and the end brings the movie full-circle when the wind changes again and Mary returns to the clouds. At the end of the movie, Mary leaves while the Banks family flies kites together. Bert says goodbye to Mary on her way back to the clouds over London. The song, “Let’s Go Fly a Kite” plays as credits roll past.

The movie’s theme is that only a “tuppence” of change can make a difference. Mary Poppins brings that change when she teaches the Banks family that little things like a “tuppence” for feeding birds, making chores fun when the children clean their rooms, and going for imaginary outings in the park can make a difference in the their lives. The opening scene sets up this theme when Bert expects a tip from his well-dressed audience. Some give generously to help him, but others don’t give anything at all.
