My first relationship, been with her for 2 months now.

What kind of flowers should I get? Not looking for extravagant. And how much am I looking at?

And no, I'm not posting pics, she's 17.

flowers?? really??

I used to buy those for my Fiancee...

I gave up after 6 months however, the returns on the investment in flowers just wasn't profitible.

Eh, I get them sometimes, but it's pretty rare. I've found though that it really is the thought that matter more than the quality- I've had the same reaction to a $10 bouqet from a grocery store as I have from the florest's $75 setup. (unless it's for a special occasion- then I'd not recommend flowers anyways, but if you do get them, you better spend some $$)

Never underestimate the power of flowers. Oh, and every girl has her favorite flower written down somewhere. Either look on her facebook page for them, or just get ones that are her favorite color.

If I were you, I'd get a nice, colorful boquet for around $10-15. My g/f likes these and she appreciates the fact that I can afford to get them more often then were I to go and spend
$50 on a nice rose arrangement.

Should get her a necklace instead.

She's not much of a jewelry girl. She's pretty preppy and I've never seen her wear jewelry.

Lulz, that one went totally over your head.

Only if it's a pearl necklace

You can get nice looking flowers at the grocery store. It isn't the money, it's the thought. I had a girlfriend give me flowers once after we had been going out a couple of months. I've never really been into flowers, but I really liked those, as it was a small gesture that showed she was thinking of me :^)

Dandelion FTW. Blow it in her face. She'll sneeze, and then you can hand her a tissue.
