Flowers on a first date?

I say NO! Here's the logic behind that... say you don't really know her all that well and maybe she's not crazy about you yet, she'll think it's weird you brought a rose. Let's say the date doesn't go so well; you look like an idiot for bringing it.

Plus if you go on future dates, you've set yourself up to having to always bring something like flowers.

I like to use the first date to determine if I want to go on a second. If, after a few dates or if things go well, I'll bring flowers. I make it a point not to hand them out every time I see her, but to use it as a symbol that I think that we have something special.

I say either:
- go classy, get her a flower of some sort and take her somewhere nice for supper OR
- go casual, forget the flower go catch a flick then go to a coffee shop type place or get an ice cream.

a single rose is good but generic... i like to get something different.. simple but different... this way she will be taken back and will always remember that you are not just typical... my two cents...
