Hey yall,

Ive been lookin around online for a good place to send flowers to my girlfriend for our 1 month, we met mutually through a friend during a weeklong trip this summer, but she lives about 1500 miles away. That being said, ive been checking out 1800flowers.com, flower.com, and Proflowers.com for a dozen red roses. Anyone had any experience with any of them? or would ya reccomend another? Proflowers seems to be the cheapest, but i havent heard of them before and dont want to get anything crappy. Any help would be greatly appreciated....

I also have used 1800flowers, and twice they beat me for balloons that I ordered with the flowers. The flowers were great though.

I have used 1800flowers.com and it worked out good.

You might want to try Conroy's Flowers I think they are a national chain. They will personally hand deliver.. and the quality can be sure to be good.

Damn, one month is too soon for flowers. But if you insist and care about quality, call up a local (to her) florist and have them deliver the flowers.

I always send with 1800 flowers as well. Prices are a bit more, but i get the occasional gift certificate or discount code from them as well. But more or less i do it because i know they're reliable.

Don't listen to them, 1 month isn't too soon for flowers.

BUT if you want to know the REAL secret of sending flowers, send it to them in a public location. Such as work. Receiving flowers are nice, but receiving flowers in public (especially infront of coworkers and friends who she can make jealous) will make her feel 100X as good.

What do you mean one month is too soon for flowers??

I always bring a rose on the first date, and send flowers after a month or so. I've gotten no complaints.

Any excuse to send flowers is a good one.

i'd stay away from proflowers.. the flowers i sent to my girlfriend were half dead when she got them.. luckily she put them in water right away, and they started feeling better.. but anyway.. stay away from them.. not worth the few bucks you'll save..

Thanks for all the help. I think im gonna go with 1800flowers. Seems to be the first choice among many. I checked out places like FTD.com as well but their prices are waay too much, hell i could fly up there for the price of some of their bouquets. Thanks for idea about sending it to her work, only problem is she works as a teaching assistant at a daycare center, not exactally an environment to recieve flowers in. Oh well. Thanks again for the help.
