Do you floss? I went to the dentist not too long ago and my teeth were in very nice shape except for the fact that I never floss. Apparently I have 3 very small cavities that are forming at in between my teeth at the very top because I do not floss. I'm making a serious effort now to floss every day. I got some neat things to help too. It's a stick with floss on the end. Now, I can floss at my computer and such with no mess or sticking your fingers in your mouth. It requires one hand, so you can surf with the other. You should look into these things if you don't floss (or brush for that matter :( ). They are called Glide FlossPicks. Your Welcome :)

neither, I have one of those picks sitting near me, so when I'm on my computer and see it I just start going at it. It's called Multi-Taksing.

I didn't floss regularly until fairly recently, for about the past year I've flossed every day. Suposidly flossing isn't just beneficial to your teeth, but your health over all. It prevents infenction and can actually add years onto your life!

I have gone 21 years without any cavaties, *knock on wood* hopefully i'll have many more years cavaty free.

I use Colgate Total, Listerine and Oral B Satin Floss regularly.

Years ago, after a teeth cleaning, I noticed that I could suck air through the tiny spaces between my lower front teeth. Then it occurred to me that if I couldn't before the cleaning then that meant that the space must have been blocked off... with .... YUCK!

I've flossed ever since and I actually suck some air every once in a while to double check myself.

The hygienist keeps bugging me about flossing because I have lost ~1-2mm of bone around my teeth. I try, but only manage a couple times a week.

twice a day after I brush. My mouth just doesn't feel right if I don't. Flossing strenghtens your gums like you wouldn't believe. I feel like my dentist could take sand paper to them and they wouldn't bleed!!
