Florida's Broward county wants paper ballots

They'll screw those up too!

I think the people in charge of elections over there have just proven beyond a reasonable doubt that they are complete idiots.

Hasn't it been two YEARS since the 2000 election screwups?

The rejection has Deutsch and Hastings speculating that the Republican-controlled election offices in the state Capitol have political motives to thwart a good turnout in Broward, a Democratic stronghold. Republican Gov. Jeb Bush is in a close race with Tampa lawyer Bill McBride, the Democratic candidate.

Oh yes, a democratically-controlled county screws up, and the democrats immediately claim it's the Republicans' fault. Why? Because Jeb Bush didn't hold their hands and show them exactly how not to screw up?
I can understand their concerns about losing the voters, but blaming someone who had NOTHING to do with their screwups is despicable. Yet it seems that Florida Democrats just keep it doing it again and again.

What a bunch of a-holes.

And I guarantee that if Jeb had taken a personal hand in changing Broward county's election scheme, the Democrats would have screamed bloody murder. Yet, I have no doubt that you'll soon see them blaming the governor for NOT doing so.

its always someone else's fault with the democrats, no personal responsibility.

I agree. I think there could a meltdown of the DNC in the very near future if these problems continue.

they haven't done anything for most of their core constituency for the past 2 decades. i guess you can do that when the republicans have even less to offer most of the dem's constituency but it seems that on a lot of things the dems are even more status-quo oriented than the reps

I would have to agree, the republicans need to grow a backbone and stand up to the DNC and start making some real goverment reform.

That's right. That is why so many people vote Dem. They don't want to take responsibility for their food, housing, health car or education. The Dems promise that they'll take care of them no matter what. Guess what, you morons, the Dems don't give a flying fvck about you any more than the Reps do. At least the Reps, though, try to do things to grow the economy and create jobs so that you can take care of your worthless selves.
