Florida Total Hand Recount: My prediction; Gore will gain 1000 votes.

Why will they recount the whole state?
Because they won't finish Palm Beach county before the required deadline Tues. evening. At that point the deal makers will agree to continue the recount but only if they recount all the counties.

But remember that Bush is ahead by 961 since Palm Beach isn't included in the CNN.com "official" vote totals. Question. Do the balots Gore picked up in hand recounting on Sat. reduce the Bush lead from 961 to 942 or from 327 to 308. Since 961 is the official number, wouldn't it make since that that number is the one that is being altered?

So now what happens. Gore pulls ahead by a slim margin ???

Then they open the absentee ballots (I can't tell if they are opening them every day -- They apparently are not since the unofficial vote totals don't change accordingly) And Bush gets a 500 vote increase from them -- and still wins by 400 votes.

Every time they recount, the figures change.I feel the people in Florida are being less than honest. The election should be totaled with the entire Fla. vote disqualified for both parties.Florida has become an embarassment to the rest of the nation, and is a political sewer.

A revote will never happen. A total recount is iffy. Look for Intervention by the Senate.

SD-

Dont want to defend FL but I fear it is not the only state wearing the Gastodome.
