Man you and Justoh, birds of a feather I guess.

Hate to break your bubble, but women are in fact, people.

You just going to ignore literally the next thing said? Women can be multiple things at once. In porn, they are sexual objects. In Music they can be objects of entertainment. Welcome to the human condition. Its quite complex.

Unless you have never seen a woman and thought she was attractive and knew nothing else about her.

The boys who choose to make a big deal about the nipples should removed from the class room and discuss with the appropriate school personnel why objectification and sexualization of girls based on anatomy that belongs to 100% of the population is foolish and not proper conduct on school property.
Sudden outbreak of common sense.

I'd also like to point out, it doesn't exactly require a nipple to get men attracted to women. I'm more than confident that there's enough 'distractions' in the classroom that a vague nipple is little more than a drop in the ocean, so to speak.

Observing a person as attractive doesn't mean they're being objectified. I think you've got some crossed wires.

And how you react to that situation determines the outcome. Smile politely and keep going? Crash your car because you're starting so hard? Choose to "cat call"? Bash her over the head and drag her back to your cave?

There's something good about higher level thinking and reactions to potential sexual stimuli in you're immediate surrounding.

Okay, then define what you think being objectified means.
Not to be overtly vulgar, but viewing someone as a hole to stick, or a pole to ride, would be objectifying them. Figuratively viewing them as an object, and nothing more. Seeing someone as an attractive person is still identifying them as *a person*, and all that comes along with that (rights, privileges, thoughts, feelings, etc).

If you want to do that to the boys also I'm fine with it. But in the end the girl still needs to conform to the dress code; this is the part that everyone complaining about this action seems to be missing. And perhaps more importantly she needs to be seen conforming to the dress code so all the students can see the rules apply to everyone (in this scenario it would be the boys for conduct and the girl for code compliance). Now if she's able to make her case and get this rule removed from the code then she can then wear what she wants but then she would be in compliance.

I commented on the situation itself, and how it is a misguided reaction that fails to address the actual problem.

We are not missing that. We are discussing if the dress code is discriminatory and needs to be changed. That is how change comes about, otherwise women would still not be allowed to vote.

As a, or just as a? Those are very different. I would suppose that you watch porn. Do you also think about the people and all their nuances, or do you just enjoy what you are seeing?

In case of nipple break glass.
Unless they arranged the desk in a circle, a bra-less girl in a t-shirt sitting in a classroom isn't going to distract anyone.
Its as if everyone forgot what classrooms are like and how desks and boobs work.

If you don't mind showing them, then don't mind if people look.

Imagine going to work without pants on but expecting people to not stare or make comments. Which side sounds more retarded?

Dress professionally for fucks sake, is that really so hard these days? Is that really such an oppression on you? Otherwise don't complain that people notice.

Back in my day even in Jr High chicks were wearing low cut belly button bell bottoms jeans or daisy dukes and halters at school. It was agonizing as a young male....

Actually, not wearing a bra reduces droop. Wearing a bra weakens the muscle that holds up the breast. Its a fact that not wearing a bra helps keep them up.

The more you know eh lol.

Is there a functional muscle there? I thought it was mostly fatty tissue? I do recall a GF of mine at that age (17) that wore a bra constantly, huge knockers, but already sagging. ...I don't think going braless would have helped, much less the young age of those knockers at that time having shown a bra effect.

I've been a strong supporter of the anti bra movement for over 4 decades.
I'll start up an AMA on reddit if anyone would like to discuss.

A Danish girl I dated in the early 90s said that.

I'm guessing the article wants you to think this is just a boy vs girl issue since that gets clicks but i suspect its more than that. Note the school just says 'distracted students' so i suspect they also know its not just the boys. My wife works at a school with an enforced dress code and I have helped enforce it as a volunteer at events. Boys just stare and sometimes giggle. Girls point, gossip, disparage and verbally complain (often overly loudly to be heard by everyone on purpose). In terms of overall disruption or distraction i wouldnt be surprised if girls were more involved than boys since boys would only tend to be distracted when viewing or trying to view the nipples while most girls would not even need to be around the other girl to be distracted

Edit: thats aside from the bandages. Seems odd that was the only solution. Perhaps we're only hearing part of the story? I would hope she was at least given the option to call parents but chose the bandages instead

Bingo. Men blaming women for their own weaknesses is how parts of the world wound up in burkas. Women should not be criminalized for the failings of men.
Yes, exactly. This conservative approach to dress codes is difficult. I'm in libtard MA, and there's a school in our district who is hard up on how girls dress so not to "distract" the boys. Even sleeveless apparel is unwelcome, and will render punitive actions. It's a school run by women too, but like repressed conservative women. It's mind boggling how they cannot see how that translates to more strict dress codes, and blaming women for men's sexual misconduct later on.
