Admission to a movie at all Florida AMC Theaters will be just $5 on September 9th. AMC will offer proceeds from "AMC Hurricane Relief Day," which includes its box office and 100 percent of concession sales, to the American Red Cross to assist in Hurricane Charley relief efforts.

I Couldn't find any specificinfo on AMC's website, but if you try to buy tickets online they are showing up as $5
 
DANG! I just got back from a crap Labor Day weekend over there! 3 days no electricity! I'm sure there's thousands of people over there that had it a lot worse than me. It's a great cause! I emailed my friend out there. Good post!
 
With Ivan coming, I hope this won't be the last donation. If the trend keeps up, maybe we can have a perpetual Global Warming Relief fund for those of us -- myself included -- dopey enough to think we can live down here without a calamity every now and then.

Sucks to be in Florida these days....3 Hurriucanes in less than 2 months....Bummer. Batten down the hatches, grab the dog, get the f*ck out of dodge, and move to Arizona where there's no rain.
