Floppy wont work

Hey guys, I have a soyo 645 dragon lite, and I just bought some Antec rounded cables to go with my Antec 1080amg, anyway, when I put back all the power connectors and ide connectors, I get an error that says floppy disk(s) failed (40), i looked it up in my manual and it says connect it the right way which I did. I tried using my old regular floppy cable and still the same problem. Any Ideas, is it a bad floppy? The led is on so its getting power. Thanks.
 
boy do I feel stupid, thanks for pointing that out, I swear I had put it in the right way, wtf was I on, thanks again.
