I have a CD burner and a lot of old floppy disks containing a lot of old software that I would like to transfer to a CD for convienence sake. I'm looking for some kind of software that will read the floppy disk's lable and then make a directory on the CD with the same name and then copy the disk's contents to the CD then ask for another floppy disk to continue the process. Does anyone know of any kind of shareware program out there that will accomplish this kind of task?

TIA

You could make up new folders for each floppy you want on your HD with a label name and contents copied from the floppy. Then burn all those folders to your cd's.

That's pretty much what I wanted to do but I was looking for something that would automatically read the floppy disk's lable and do the directory creation and copying of the files without any necessary human intervention on my part.
