Floppy Light Stays on

For some reason, when my computer that i built boots up, the floppy light stays on all the time, and never goes off. I cannot read disks because of this, and wanted to know how to fix it. is it something in the bios?

take your floppy cable and turn the plug around.. then plug it back in....

do this while the computer is off. Then power back on. You have the floppy plug plugged in upside down. 😉

Take the cable out, flip the drive upside down, and plug the cable back in. Problem solved. 😛
