I'm not sure what i'm doing wrong if anything...but i'm trying to boot to norton ghost from a floppy disk but it won't. But i could still read the disk when i'm in windows.
when it boots up...i see the light on the floppy trying to look for the boot file. i've tried booting the disk from a different computer and it works. i've checked the cmos...to make sure...so i disabled everything except the floppy to boot...still no boot. please help. tia

Can you boot from drive A using any other disk on this pc?

Also, you can install the ghost software then boot to a dos prompt, change to the directory & type ghost.exe & run the program without the floppy if you really need to make an image & need to find a way around your floppy problem.

Also, Ive had floppy drives that I had to hold up or down on the back of the floppy disk to get the drive to read it.
Good OLD floppy technology. ;)

you have the same mobo I do. In the BIOS settings, did you set under the Boot options to seek floppy disk? I think that may be the problem.
