Floppy Drive Detection... see if you can help!

Here's the deal.... im building a computer based on the K7T Turbo MB. The floppy drive is not detecting for some reason. With the cable and power properly installed, the floppy drive LED does not even come on during boot, and is never accessed (BIOS is set to boot off Floppy, so it should).

I know the power cabling works, and that the floppy drive cabling at least REGISTERS, because if I flip the ribbon cable, the LED stays on (to signal error).

Why won't it access???

Well, I'm overclocking the system (700 @ 933 right now (7.0x133)... got up to 1GHz earlier without FSB)... I didn't feel like posting in another forum.

But I can't [easily] load the OS with the floppy drive working.

Try using the twisted end of the floppy cable - you probably have the straight end connected for the 2nd unit.

The twisted end was at the floppy with the opposite end at MB. I tried flipping it. I have put the floppy in the middle... you name it. Something BIOS related maybe?
