Floppy doesn't work in XP, but OK in DOS/98 !!!

I'm facing a really strange problem : my floppy disk
works perfectly under DOS or Win98, but refuses
to work under Win XP.

XP pretend the floppy aren't formatted, and
even refuses to format them.

It seems I'm not alone facing this issue.

Any idea ?
