Flooring and ceiling reno questions

My cottage needs some care and need help on planning.

Any exp with foam base subfloor(Insul-armor or thermal shield)? They're much lighter and cheaper than normal air flow subfloor. The reason I need this is because one are is 1 1/2in lower than the next, I need to height to lvl. Insolation is bonus and it will be vinyl on top.
If they're good then how do you secure them? Don't looks like you can screw or nail gun them.

The old ceiling is some fiberboard, can I just cover it with drywall w/ some 2inch drywall screws? Or do I need furring strip?

Also if I want to build one of those TV accent wall, can I build it on top of the plywood/foam/vinyl layers? Asking because have not committed to it yet, wondering if I can add it after.

How do you lever a floor with ridged foam?

You can drywall over the ceiling as long as there is the correct framing above it.
