Floor Jack question

I have the 2.5 ton version of that jack (I think they just increased the capacity) and it works great. Have had it for 6 or 7 years now... It's heavy, but it lifts without issue every time. It isn't quite low enough for my lowered Trans Am, but the issue is the side plates hit my air dam under the car because my K-member is so far back.

Good jack for around the garage, not a good jack for transporting around the track.

Reviews typically won't steer you wrong. FWIW, most jacks fail because they lose a seal and the hydraulic fluid leaks out. I got a 3 ton craftsman for my SUV @ about $80 with a crawler and a few jack stands. I've not had it fail yet, but you can't get quality tools much anymore. It's always a roll of the dice.
