Floopy LAGS computer A LOT, for a long time.

mine lags since i first used a new case and couldn't see the fdd "on" light, and ejected the floppy before it was done writing.......ordered new fdd this morning ($14.64 at onvia).

My floppy locks up Win 98SE (if accessed), but since I don't use 98 (win 2k), I don't care.

Do you have an application open with a file loaded from the floppy? Copy it to the HDD first, then save to floppy when you're done.
